Whirling Blades Mimic Wings of Fleeing Birds

UV light reflecting paint on blades looks like flapping of wings of birds taking off in fright. Found effective on small birds, Canada geese, ravens, cormorants, and birds as large as wild turkeys, turkey vultures and buzzards.

  • Blades painted with special uv light reflecting paint (50 percent of a bird's vision is in the ultra-violet range)
  • To geese the uniquely painted spinning blades look like the flapping of wings of a flock of geese taking off in fright (combine w/ 3D Coyote or Bird Gard for greater effect)

Note: Experts will tell you that successful bird deterrence usually requires developing a multi-pronged strategy. Birds will frequently acclimate to a single, unchanging deterrent. Mix things up. Employ visual and sonic deterrents together and be willing to take the time to adjust the position or types of deterrents used. Note too, that it is easier to discourage birds who have not begun to feed in or acclimate themselves to an area. Be ready with an effective response before they become a problem and you will have a greater chance of success.
