Why didn’t I know about this 30 years ago?
I will recommend them to anyone that needs loppers and reach.
Caveat: I am not a pro gardener, or an orchardist or production pruner.
However, as my grandfather and father were, I am a rather avid landscaper and gardener, and as an engineer, appreciate fine tools. I have a quarter acre Japanese-Chinese garden I have always maintained myself.
These long loppers work better than advertised. 2 inch softwood is trivial, as are my maples and ash.
I knew ARS, so I was not concerned about the quality, and was not at all disappointed, and even surprised about some of the features I had not bothered to look at.. For instance, the grab hook is also great for hanging storage.
