Unique Sales Opportunity for Motivated Individual

OESCO, Inc., formerly Orchard Equipment & Supply Company, is in our 67th year of business. We purchase product throughout the USA, Europe, Canada, the Philippines, and other countries, as well as manufacture on the premises. Sales personnel may be assisting customers on phones, at the counter in our store or preparing product for pick-up. A phone call could result in an equipment quote or parts order to a visit to service to see how an equipment repair is coming along. Days vary a lot! We also travel to a variety of agricultural trade shows throughout the northeast, all of which were cancelled last year. With the advent of Zoom, we wonder what changes will come to those meetings! Our customers have come to depend on our working knowledge of the equipment, hand tools, crop netting and parts that we stock and sell, and those customers tell us how much our service means to them time and again.

Requirements

• Experience or relevant knowledge in the mechanical, agricultural, or landscape industries
• Ability and willingness to multitask
• Ability and willingness to research and problem-solve while working with customers
• Ability and willingness to work as a part of our team

Preferred Skills:

• Some mechanical background or training
• Proficiency with current technology and Microsoft Office

The sampling below lists some lines of products offered to the agricultural community throughout New England and the Midwest States. In total, we carry over 400 lines of products. We inventory replacement parts and ancillary supplies such as pumps, hose, fittings, valves, books (including Tractor Mac! to how to make cider) safety apparel, replacement parts and more. With retirements approaching, we are eager to hire 2 or 3 sales personnel to learn some of the ropes from them and find areas of your particular interest in products offered.
