The 475DLX is a virtually identical to Solo's popular 425DLX but it has a diaphragm pump mechanism in the place of the 425DLX's piston pump. In practical terms, this means that the 475DLX is better suited to abrasive materials, since the diaphragm completely isolates the spray material from the inner workings of the pump mechanism. The other major difference is that the diaphragm pump develops a lower maximum pressure (60 PSI vs 90 PSI for the 425DLX).

The Deluxe version features a folding handle for easier transport/storage, a pressure gauge, a four position regulating valve in the tank (15,30,45, and 60 psi) and a brass adjustable nozzle.
