Used oak whiskey barrels are the connoisseur's choice for making hard cider. This batch of barrels came from the Jim Beam distillery in Kentucky and they have seen one use as a conditioning vessel for micro-brewed beer. They still smell strongly of bourbon and we had a long-time hard-cider maker comment last season that they made some of the nicest cider that he has ever made.

Note: These barrels are very heavy and do not ship UPS. If you are buying a single barrel it probably makes most sense to pick it up at our shop in Conway, MA. If you are buying in quantity, we can deliver them to you on one of our trucks. Please call for details.
