Pluk-O-Trak Fruit Harvesting and Pruning Platform

Munckhof Pluk-O-Trak Fruit Harvesters
Self-propelled fruit harvesting machine and pruning platform
The Munckhof Pluk-O-Trak is the only mechanical fruit harvesting machine with over 30 years of practical experience in the field. This is your guarantee of excellent performance and quality - confirmed by official bodies at home and abroad. The Pluk-O-Trak allows you to organize your harvesting very easily. No empty bins need to be set out, so half-full bins become a thing of the past. Moreover, the distance that has to be driven is half that required with a conventional system. This saves fuel, wear and tear on machinery and soil compaction. Efficiency is greatly increased as compared with conventional systems.
OESCO is proud to be the distributor for the Munckhof Pluk-O-Trak for the northeastern U.S. market. The Pluk-O-Trak is the perfect solution for today's orchards with their smaller trees and increased planting density. It is a mechanical fruit harvesting machine that can be quickly re-configured to serve as a platform for pruning, hand thinning, trellis maintenance and netting installation.
Munckhof has been building and selling the Pluk-O-Trak for more than 30 years to European fruit growers. OESCO imports both their Junior and the Senior models. Both machines are powered by an economical 13 HP Honda engine mated to a continuously variable belt-drive power transmission system w/ two-speed gearbox. Despite its small size, the engine is able to run at a high-idle, limiting noise, saving fuel and reducing engine wear.
Gentle fruit handling
One of the remarkable things about the Pluk-O-Trak is the gentle way in which the fruit is handled. Pickers remove the fruit from the tree and place it on a fingered conveyor belt specifically designed to carry the fruit carefully to the ultra-sensitive rotating bin filler without bruising. Fruit quality is increased by 50 – 60% as compared to conventional harvesting methods.
Note that the bin-trailer is a key part of the Pluk-O-Trak system, allowing you to concentrate on harvest operations without concerning yourself with pre-positioning bins in the row. Instead, the bins are towed behind the harvester. When the bin riding on the back of the harvester is full, the bin is gently lowered to the ground and it passes under the bin trailer as a new bin is moved into place on the harvester’s turntable. Harvesting operations are barely interrupted and there are no half-filled or over-filled bins left behind. Operations proceed at peak efficiency and productivity is greatly increased.
