Works as expected, held up well through the project.
I was skeptical how a steel rod with a mushroom cap could be this pricey. However, driving four anchors into hardpan and smaller round rock proved the worth of the tool! I dug a slight bowl atop each hole and soaked the soil with water during the driving process. This allowed the round rocks to shift and not damage the 88 anchors.
Overall, the tool held up to the task and provided a straight, solid driving force with the use of a hefty sledge hammer. I got a workout and so did this bar. It is a quality piece of steel, and when used properly, it should last through many anchors if you stay centered on the mushroom head when pounding. Wear eye protection!
